Whitefish party in Swedish Kukkolaforsen

Whitefish party “Sikfesten” is one of the most well-known and anticipated annual summer events in the locality. It is held at the end of July, when whitefish will start to rise into the Torne River in increasing numbers and the rotation will start. The event usually takes place around Jacob’s Day and it is held at Kukkolaforsen Sweden.  The sellers of local products spread out on the rapids, music is playing, and whitefish is roasting on skewers.
